Week 14 in Fantasy Football is an odd week Football. In my leagues I would say that between a third and half of all players have something to win. The rest of your league has either been eliminated or already secured their playoff or bye spot. The rest of this post is for teams who are still fighting for a playoff spot in Week 14. At the top, I’d like to give some advice for teams that have already secured their playoff seeding. For starters: congratulations. We’ll now look at the playoff schedule for wide receivers. We need to find a stash at this position more than anywhere else. I don’t have 24 wide-receivers I want to play this week. You won’t be surprised to hear that Luther Burden tops my list. He is still the Bears’ leader in yards per route (2.20), target per route (22.8%) and yards per goal (9.65). In the last two games, he played the majority of offensive snaps. If that number could be increased to 67%, I believe we would have a wide receiver who is a must start. Even though he’s only in 25% of fantasy leagues, Pat Bryant, another rookie is listed at even lower 5%. In Week 13, he played over Troy Franklin in the Broncos route-running for the first time this season. In his last two games, he has had 13 targets and scored 13,2 Fantasy points in Week 11 against the Chiefs. Denver will play at home in both Week 16 and 17. Bo Nix performs much better in Denver. I don’t think that he’s as likely to breakout as Burden. However, his roster rate should still be higher.
Jayden Higgins Isaac TeSlaa and Matthew Golden are other rookies I’d like to stash. You could start the guy at the top of the waiver wire, who is better than these other guys.
