Dillon Danis is still attempting to feud with MMA’s prominent Dagestani team.
The polarizing American grappler had an eventful trip to Madison Square Garden last November, when Islam Makhachev won the welterweight title at UFC 322.
Danis brawled with Makhachev’s team at cageside, including Magomed ‘John Pork’ Zaynukov. Dana White subsequently banned the former Bellator fighter from attending future events.
That meant Danis was not in Philadelphia for UFC 330 on Saturday, but he was still piping up about Makhachev on social media.

Dillon Danis wants ‘revenge’ by challenging Islam Makhachev in the UFC
Makhachev beat Ian Machado Garry in the main event of UFC 330, which took place at the Xfinity Mobile Arena.
While Danis was not in the crowd for the five-round championship headliner, he was evidently watching from home, as he prepares to make his MMA comeback against Mike Perry on August 29.
He reacted on social media, and he unsurprisingly did not have kind words for the UFC welterweight champion.
“For the love of f—ing Dana Hunter White, give me Islam Makhachev,” Danis wrote on X.
“Let me be the one to end this inbred rat once and for all. Revenge is a dish best served cold,” he added.
Danis’ feud with Makhachev’s team dates back over 100 UFC numbered events to the days when Conor McGregor and Khabib Nurmagomedov were feuding.
After tapping out the Irishman at UFC 229, Nurmagomedov attacked Danis in McGregor’s corner, sparking a wild brawl inside the T-Mobile Arena.

Danis returned to MMA with a quick submission at Misfits 22 in August 2025, submitting Warren Spencer in just 15 seconds to become the inaugural MF MMA light heavyweight champion.
His next bout against Perry will headline the Dual Arena 1 event.
