He graduated in 2018 from the University of Huddersfield after completing a course on Sports Journalism. Eight months later, he started at Snack as a member of the writing staff. While a passionate Arsenal fan, he’s covered a variety of clubs, from Leeds United to Celtic to Sunderland. His knowledge on football is vast. Matt was appointed chief editor in late 2021 after a stint as FFC’s assistant editor.
His experience counts work at the Press Association, where he was featured on Sky Sports & The Daily Mail. Prior to joining Snack he worked as the Arsenal editor for VAVEL and then the Premier League editor. Matt has also gained experience in club journalism, working with Chesterfield FC for the 2017/18 campaign.
His voice can be heard on Love Sport Radio and Arsenal Fan TV, as well as in various football podcasts.
