Sean Strickland has released private messages showing an argument he had with Tyron Woodley in the DMs.
UFC middleweight champion Strickland was far from complimentary when it came to Woodley’s old coach Din Thomas’ decision to retire from cornering fights after UFC 330. It led to a mixed response, and the former welterweight champion made his feelings clear in a message that he thought was private.
Strickland did not take kindly to Woodley’s reaction, and also decided to keep their interactions public by screenshotting the messages and sharing them to fans. The post has gone viral across social media with hundreds of thousands of fans reading their exchange.

After his comments about Din Thomas’ strange retirement, Sean Strickland received quite a bit of backlash. One particularly notable reply came in a DM from fellow UFC champion Tyron Woodley who has worked for years with the famed trainer.
“Watch your mouth talking about Din,” Woodley wrote. “You have no clue wtf you talking about. We laugh all the time when you have no filter, but you a habitual line crosser. I’m ride or die about him. Don’t cross that line.”
Strickland did not back down, sending Woodley a photo of his lengthy losing streak from his last UFC title fight through to now in the boxing world. His current run is seven consecutive losses across disciplines including two vicious stoppages in the ring.
“Bro what are you gonna do?” He replied before sharing the photo of Woodley’s lengthy losing run. “You ain’t gonna do a d— thing lmao… Din can suck my c—.” He followed that up by branding the former welterweight champion a ‘weak a– b—-.”
