Max Holloway splashes out $60,000 of Conor McGregor purse with purchase ahead of UFC 329

A week out from his monumental clash at UFC 329, Max Holloway has treated himself to a big purchase.

On July 11, Max Holloway will welcome Conor McGregor back to the Octagon after five years out of action when they clash in the UFC 329 main event.

Since ‘The Notorious’ McGregor last fought, the Hawaiian has fought eight times, with five of them having been title fights.

Despite that, none of them were bigger than a clash against the biggest draw in MMA history, and ‘Blessed’ Holloway is already reaping the rewards of that.

When the fight was initially announced, the former UFC double champion opened up as a sizeable underdog, the biggest he has ever been throughout his career.

However, with the fight drawing closer, the odds have come in considerably, although the Irishman is still being backed to suffer his third loss in a row.

Despite that, Jon Jones has offered his support to McGregor, and is backing the 37-year-old to pull off the upset in Las Vegas.

Holloway, though, is seemingly enjoying himself ahead of the biggest fight in the sport, which will likely see him earn one of the biggest purses of his career.

And to celebrate, the Hawaiian has treated himself to a $60,000 purchase, showing off his new six-pack Dodge Charger.

“Waiting for the Dodge, bro. It’s funny, everyone is harassing me, I wanna address it now, I know it’s called a six-pack but the engine is still the scat pack, bro, calm down guys do your research,” Holloway said on his YouTube when showing off his flashy new purchase.

“Oh my god, this car is sick, bro,” he continued as he took it for a test drive.

The 34-year-old will be hoping to extend his celebrations by getting revenge over McGregor, and he has predicted that he will ‘drown’ the Irishman.

Holloway’s former foe Alexander Volkanovski has warned him not to return to his old style of dismissing striking defense in an attempt to put on an exciting fight.
