Next month sees the returns of both Khamzat Chimaev and Ronda Rousey.
Ahead of her main event on Netflix, Rousey has been critical of UFC fighter pay and the current state of the leading MMA promotion.
Rousey compared what UFC fighters make to the minimum pay that every fighter sharing the card with her on May 16 will walk away with at the very least.
While ‘Rowdy’ is insistent on making positive changes to the sport, not every fighter is supporting her cause, including the current UFC middleweight champion.

Khamzat Chimaev agrees that Ronda Rousey is ‘ungrateful’ towards the UFC following recent criticisms
Khamzat Chimaev’s preparations for his UFC 328 title defense have already been well documented but he’s now taking this process into his own hands.
‘Borz’ recently posted the first video on his new YouTube channel where in one clip, he weighed in on Ronda Rousey’s recent criticisms of the promotion where she made her name.
Without the context of why this topic was brought up, Chimaev stated that “there never would have been Ronda Rousey without [the] UFC.”
After saying, “I hate this,” the undefeated champion agreed with someone off-screen calling Rousey’s comments “ungrateful”.
“If they pay good or they don’t pay good, who cares,” Chimaev added. “She was Olympic champ, what did she make then?”

Some have questioned Rousey’s intentions behind the stance she’s taken after she originally hoped to make her UFC return before negotiations fell through.
Others, like Kayla Harrison, have been critical of the way Rousey has promoted her upcoming bout with Gina Carano.
‘Rowdy’ has been a divisive personality for a long time but her fired-up rants have reminded a lot of fans why she was able to generate so much attention during her UFC career.
