Dana White has just dropped some information that makes Sean Strickland’s win at UFC 328 even more impressive.
The outspoken American became a two-time UFC middleweight champion on Saturday night.
As a heavy underdog, Sean Strickland beat 15-0 Khamzat Chimaev by split decision at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey.

Sean Strickland’s broken nose confirmed
Sean Strickland has been posting pictures of his swollen nose in the aftermath of UFC 328.
It was obvious that Khamzat Chimaev managed to break it at some point during their five-round fight.
Dana White confirmed the injury and when it happened during a Zuffa Boxing press conference on Sunday.
“Yes, he broke his nose in the first round,” the UFC CEO revealed.
Strickland did his best work after round one. It was already impressive, but learning that he fought at an extremely high level for over 20 minutes with a compromised nose makes his win over Chimaev even greater.
Khamzat Chimaev wants a rematch
Dana White initially shut down rematch talk following a post-fight conversation with Khamzat Chimaev.
The UFC boss was told that a move to light heavyweight was imminent after his loss to Sean Strickland.
Since then, Chimaev has made a U-turn, suggesting he will seek an immediate rematch for the UFC middleweight title.
When he broke his silence following the fight, Chimaev wrote: “@SStricklandMMA see you soon again.”
A few hours later, he tagged Strickland and added: “Let me know when you are ready.”
