Some have spotted changes in Dana White’s story about a Francis Ngannou clash.
All is certainly not well between the UFC president and his promotion’s former heavyweight champion.
The relationship between White and Ngannou has continued to deteriorate ever since ‘The Predator’ left the UFC in early 2023 after a lengthy contractual dispute between the two parties could not be resolved.
This trend continued in November, when White claimed that Ngannou had pushed him behind the scenes at an earlier UFC event because he was denied a bonus after a fight.

Dana White’s less dramatic account of the alleged Francis Ngannou incident
The UFC president made that claim while appearing on Andrew Schulz’s FLAGRANT podcast, accusing Ngannou of grabbing him by the shirt and forcefully pushing him into an office as White attempted to leave.
“He had just fought and he comes up to my office, he’s in the hallway hanging out and I said, ‘Come on in, what’s going on?’ He was p—- off he didn’t get $50,000 in his last fight, that he didn’t get the bonus.
“I said, ‘Francis, you didn’t get it for this or that,’ and he’s in my office and he’s arguing with me. I’m like this guy got this, this guy got that, and this is why. The conversation’s over, and I’m starting to leave, and he grabs me by my shirt and pushes me back in my office.
“I said ‘dude, get your f—- hands off me.’ I could see in this guy’s face and in his eyes and the way he’s acting who this guy really f—- is,”He added.
White was recently interviewed by The Mac Life. After his comments were widely circulated in the MMA world, he was asked to discuss the subject again.
This time, the 56-year-old promoter’s recollection of the apparent altercation was clearly different.
“Let me be clear on something when I say the physicality, it’s not like Francis came in here and threatened us or anything like that,”White clarified.
“We’re in there and he’s telling me that he deserves the $50k. I said. ‘You’re not getting it.’ We had determined who was going to get the $50K. And I’m in there with him for however long and I’m like, ‘I’m done, I have another meeting.’
“So I started to walk out, and he put his hand on my chest and he said, ‘We’re not done talking,’ and I said, ‘Oh, we’re done talking.’
