He may not be fighting, but Colby Covington still has one way to make an appearance on the White House lawn this June.
The former interim UFC welterweight champion has a bone to pick with the promotion right now, having been left out of the lineup for the national celebration this summer.
Amid a lengthy layoff, Covington wanted to fight at the White House. However, despite his relationship with United States President Donald Trump, ‘Chaos’ is not on the card.
Covington has made his frustration with that snub known, but he did recently receive an offer to appear at the event in a different capacity.

Colby Covington claims he has been asked to corner a UFC White House fighter
During a Wednesday appearance on The Ariel Helwani Show, Covington disclosed an offer for him to corner a fighter at the event in Washington D.C. on June 14.
Bo Nickal is accusing Covington of ‘ducking’ him and turning down their fight on the card. While he’s not facing him directly, ‘Chaos’ could end up contributing to his fellow wrestling specialist’s potential demise in another way.
The middleweight prospect will be fighting Kyle Daukaus on the White House lawn, and ‘The D’Arce Knight’ may be looking to bring Nickal’s enemy into his team on fight night.
“I just might be attending, yeah,” Covington said when asked if he will be at the event.
“Someone asked me to be their corner, so I might be there in attendance in someone’s corner.
“I don’t know, it could have been,” he added, when asked if the fighter in question was Daukaus.
“He’s a great kid. Shout out to Kyle Daukaus. I never wanted to take that opportunity from him. Why would I take this great opportunity off his table when he’s worked hard, he’s paid his dues in the sport.
“He deserves it. I’m happy for him, and I’m supporting him all the way against ‘Bozo’ Nickal.”
