After finding out about the promotion’s plan to host an event at the White House in 2026, ‘The Notorious’ made it clear that he wants to compete on the event and he even re-entered the testing pool to make his comeback possible.
Even though it was almost certain that Michael Chandler would be his opponent upon his return, another contender has put his name into the hat for the chance to face the former double champ.

The Irishman, who is more serious than ever about his return to the sport announced a few month ago that he would take a break from social media.
And earlier this week, he returned to social media stating that he was ‘shown his death’ whilst completing trauma treatment, taking one step closer to returning.
Due to his popularity around the world, he is one of the top fighters and will continue to attract a large number of competitors.
Arman Tsarukyan, the number one lightweight contender, was the last fighter to put his name into the hat for the Irishman.
This past Saturday, ‘Ahalkalakets’ scored another impressive win when he submitted Dan Hooker in the second round of their UFC Qatar main event.
