Arman Tsarukyan set to make another appearance outside the UFC as he shares card with

The UFC lightweight number one contender isn’t slowing down with his side-quests.

Since his last fight in the UFC this past November, Arman Tsarukyan has competed seven times with the majority having come under the Real American Freestyle Wrestling banner.

Most notably, the Armenian had a few month rivalry with wrestler turned-influencer, who he competed twice against after their first match ended in a huge brawl.

Just over a week ago, the 29-year-old took on UFC legend Urijah Faber, beating him by Tech Fall and launching him off the mat in the process.

While he continues to wait for his next call from the premier MMA promotion, Tsarukyan is staying busy by taking another match at RAF.

On May 30, the UFC lightweight number one contender will take on wrestler turned-influencer, Keelon Jimison, better known as ‘Mugzy’.

Mugzy has a background in professional wrestling as well as a one fight in amateur MMA. He scored a tech fall win over Clay Guida at RAF 6, which was his third appearance on the RAF mats.

This will mark Tsarukyan’s fifth appearance in RAF in five months as he continues to grow his star power across promotions.

RAF 9 takes place at College Park Center in Arlington, Texas, and it is headlined by Gable Steveson‘s RAF debut as he takes on former heavyweight contender, Alexandr Romanov.

The promotion also announced this past Monday that former UFC bantamweight champion Merab Dvalishvili will take on Frankie Edgar on the card.

‘The Machine’ was set to compete against Henry Cejudo at RAF 8 but Cejudo withdrew from their match just hours prior.

Also making his third RAF appearance in Arlington is Colby Covington, who takes on former UFC middleweight champion, Chris Weidman.

Tsarukyan and Covington remain on a collision course for each other, however, RAF continue to work with the UFC regarding rules against active UFC fighters competing against each other.
