The full card has been announced for the first MMA event that will take place on Netflix.
It was surprisingly announced last month that Ronda Rousey will face Gina Carano in a fight that sees both women end long retirements.
Adding the likes of Nate Diaz vs Mike Perry to the card showed that Most Valuable Promotions mean business for their first event in this space.
Following Jake Paul’s tease that the full line-up would be revealed on March 24, his promotion has delivered what he promised.
Junior dos Santos and Muhammed Mokaev officially join Ronda Rousey vs Gina Carano card
On March 24, Most Valuable Promotions announced the 11-fight line-up that will take place at the Intuit Dome live on Netflix on May 16.
The most notable name who hadn’t been teasing his involvement ahead of time is former UFC heavyweight champion Junior dos Santos.
He’ll be facing a fellow former UFC fighter, Robelis Despaigne, who has produced a series of devastating finishes in Karate Combat since his final Octagon outing.
Perhaps the best new matchup announced sees Muhammed Mokaev, who already said he’d be fighting at this event, take on former ONE champion Adriano Moraes following his recent release from the promotion.
Most Valuable Promotions have also been able to bring in two-weight KSW champion Salahdine Parnasse, who has long been considered to be one of the top talents not signed to the UFC.
The previously reported clash between Lorenz Larkin and Jason Jackson, along with Aline Pereira, the sister of Alex Pereira, are also among the additions, as seen below.
