    Justin Gaethje was almost knocked out by one-handed fighter in his first world title

    Justin Gaethje fought against one of the most unique fighters on the planet when he defended his title for the first time.

    On January 24, Justin Gaethje will compete in the first main event of the UFC’s new era when he takes on Paddy Pimblett for the interim lightweight title at UFC 324.

    This will mark the second time in his career that ‘The Highlight’ has competed for the UFC interim lightweight title, with his first being against Tony Ferguson back in 2020.

    And although he hasn’t been successful in his pursuit of the undisputed 155lb title in the premier promotion, Gaethje was once a world champion in a UFC rival promotion.

    Gaethje fought one-handed fighter in first world title fight
