Andrei Arlovski, the former UFC Heavyweight Champion, made an impressive debut at Misfits Boxing on Monday night. He was able to slug out another stoppage in round four.
Much was made of the monstrous age gap between Arlovski and his Netflix reality TV rival Kelechi ‘Kelz’ Dyke. In 2005, he won his first UFC interim heavyweight belt when his opponent was only 11 years old.
The experience and strength of Arlovski was apparent from the beginning as he used his power against a similarly large man. The fight was Arlovski’s third since leaving the UFC last year, having won his initial BKFC and Dirty Boxing matches by doctor’s stoppage.
