Top 10 heavyweights clash as four more fights are confirmed for UFC Houston

Four fights have just been confirmed for Sean Strickland’s comeback card.

The former middleweight champion hasn’t fought since he was battered by Dricus du Plessis over five rounds at UFC 312 in February 2025.

Sean Strickland recently claimed he felt pressured into taking that fight with a broken shoulder.

Now, he’s fully healed and preparing to face Anthony Hernandez at UFC Houston on February 21.

Four fights added to UFC Houston

On Thursday, the UFC announced four new fights for the upcoming card at the Toyota Center.

A clash between ranked heavyweight Sergei Spivac and Ante Delija was the standout bout.

Fan favorite featherweight Dan Ige was also confirmed for the card. He’ll square off against Melquizael Costa following his head kick knockout win over Morgan Charrière at UFC Vegas 112 last month.

The flamboyant knockout artist Michel Pereira will return at UFC Houston. Zachary Reese stands in the way of the Brazilian, whose KO loss to Kyle Daukaus extended his winless streak to three in a row.

Finally, a welterweight contest between Jacobe Smith and Ko Seok-hyeon was also added to the card.
