Paddy Pimblett wants International Fight Week return

Paddy Pimblett was at UFC London supporting two of his teammates who fought on Saturday’s card.

The lightweight contender sat at the back during Dana White’s post-fight press conference.

Naturally, someone asked the UFC boss when fans can expect to see Pimblett back in the Octagon.

White asked Pimblett: “When are you going to fight again?”

The British fan favorite responded: “Hopefully, International Fight Week.”

MMA’s premier promotion will conclude International Fight Week with a card in Las Vegas on July 11.

White agreed that Pimblett can compete at that event, or any other he wants to be a part of in 2026.

“Alright, there you go,” he added.

“Yeah [that sounds good to me]. Whenever he wants to fight, we’d love to have him back.”

Paddy Pimblett’s team went 1-1 at UFC London

Paddy Pimblett’s night got off to a bad start when Shem Rock lost at UFC London.

The Next Generation alum started a post-fight brawl when Abdul-Kareem Al-Selwady refused to shake his hand after their three-round clash.

In the co-main event, Luke Riley won every round against 11-3 featherweight Michael Aswell Jr.

Some fans decided Riley is ‘better than’ his teammate Pimblett after watching him move to 13-0.

Whoever you prefer, the success of Riley and Pimblett is good news for Liverpool’s top MMA gym.

Next Generation head coach Paul Rimmer‘s focus now shifts to getting Pimblett ready for his summer comeback.
