Hull FC and Catalans Dragons earned morale-boosting wins in Saturday’s Super League action. Two tries for Ethan O’Neill helped Hull end a four-match losing run at the expense of bottom side Huddersfield Giants thanks to a 36-12 win.
And in France, the Dragons responded to last weekend’s heavy defeat against Wigan in their showpiece Paris fixture by seeing off Castleford Tigers 34-28 for just a second win in five.

Arthur’s kick sent O’Neill over for his first try of the season, and the forward’s second came later in the game after Amir Bourouh had barged over from dummy-half on the hour and Harvie Barron also crossed.
