Shakur Stevenson is one of the most talented boxers, pound-for -pound, in the world. He successfully defended his WBC World Lightweight Championship title by defeating William Zepeda.
Similarly, ‘The Takeover’ Teofimo Lopez also defended his Ring Magazine and WBO Super Lightweight World titles when he clashed against Arnold Barboza Jr earlier this year.
The two appeared on Inside The Ring in September and discussed a potential fight between them.

Stevenson calls Lopez ‘very delusional’ following announcement of their title fight
After being on collision course for years, Lopez and Stevenson finally announced on Monday that they will be fighting on 31 January in New York.
Lopez’s Super Lightweight titles will be on the line, giving Stevenson the opportunity to make history by becoming the latest fighter to win titles in four different weight classes.
And ahead of their clash, the 28-year-old has explained what annoys him the most about Lopez, labeling him ‘very delusional’.
“The only thing that gets under my skin with Teo, I will say is his delusion,”Stevenson, Ring Magazine.
“He’s very delusional. It’s a good delusional, he actually believes he’s the greatest thing boxing has ever created. It’s a good delusional but for me it’s like, s— I’m in your way.
