    Match Report – Wales 26 – 52 New Zealand

    Caleb Clarke (two), Ruben love, Tamaiti Willams, Rieko Ioane and Sevu Recece (two tries) scored tries to help New Zealand thrash Wales in Cardiff during the Autumn Nations Series. Tom Rogers scored a hat-trick in Cardiff for the hosts, who remained in contention for a long time until they were penalised twice in second half.

    New Zealand beat Wales 52-26 in Cardiff, despite Tom Rogers hat-trick. 
    Rogers scored his hat trick in the second period, bringing Wales back within three points. New Zealand was able to have Will Jordan and Clarke tries disallowed in order to keep things close, but Rieko ioane got over for an important score. Wales – Tries: Rogers (10) 33 43, Rees-Zammit (77) Cons: Edwards (11, 34, 44). New Zealand – Tries: Clarke (5 79), Love (30), Williams (38), Ioane (51) and Reece (59 70). Cons: McKenzie (6, 30, 39, 52, 60, 71, 80). Pens: McKenzie (13). Sevu scored two tries to open the scoring after Wales’ replacement prop Gareth Thomas, and Wales’ No 8 Taine plumtree were soon sin-binned. Louis ReesZammit scored for the home team in the closing minutes, but Clarke was the one to have the final say. Caleb Clarke, a New Zealand winger, scored the first try in the fifth minute. What’s next for Wales? They have one last Autumn Test on Saturday.
