    Manny Pacquiao-backed IBA World Championships kick off in Dubai with $8million prize pot

    Manny Pacquiao is overseeing one of the biggest tournaments in amateur boxing as the sport’s top prospects compete for a share of a massive $8.32million prize pot.

    Boxing icon, the legendary boxer, is among a host of A-listers who will be in Dubai over the next weeks for the IBA’s World Championships. Tennis Stadium. YouTube offers free access to athletes competing daily, with the winner receiving a prize of $500,000.

    Roy Jones Jr. was spotted at this event. Rick Ross performed at its opening ceremony. In the next few days, a whole host of famous names will be seen in Dubai as the tournament heats up.

    How to watch IBA World Championships

    The competition started yesterday, and it will run in two sessions each day from now on until December 11, when the semi finals are held. Sessions are held from 5pm-9pm (local time) and from 9.30pm-12 midnight.

    The final will be held on Saturday, 12 December, from 5.30pm to 9pm local time. A pro card was held the night before at the same venue. Every single fight will be streamed live on the IBA YouTube channel.
