    Luke Littler explains scary ordeal that left him ‘shaking with nerves’

The 18-year old, who passed his driving test on Monday, said he was “shaking” with nerves during the incident. Littler, who posted an Instagram photo of his new BMW last Thursday, recounted this unsettling experience. “On Wednesday, I was driving up to (girlfriend) Faith’s and I was getting followed,” he explained, as he prepares to defend his Grand Slam of Darts title next week. “I did the latest possible exit from a motorway. He came off late, and I did too. I must have done about three U-turns. He did the same. So that’s why I posted the car so he couldn’t sell his pictures. So that’s for him. I know it’s the job, but following me on the motorway – it’s dead busy. I was nervous. But, yeah, that’s why I posted the car so he couldn’t do it.The incident overshadowed a week that should have been filled with celebrations for Littler who had passed his driving exam on his first try without any minors despite failing his theory test eight times. He said that he had bought his new car months before, with a personalized registration plate. This was a strong incentive to pass his theory.”I wanted to pass my theory as quickly as possible. “I bought the car back in May”, he said. “I didn’t buy it yesterday. When I put it on my story, I’ve had it for quite a few months now. When I first bought the car, I thought: ‘Let’s just try and get this theory over and done with’. I didn’t know who the instructor was but I’m glad I passed. The darts prodigy was genuinely surprised by the award. “I saw something in the news on my mobile.” “I thought,” ‘Surely, this can’t be true’,” he remarked. ITV News. “I was like, ‘Fair enough’.
