Jude Bellingham sends three-word message to Barcelona after fiery Clasico victory

Jude Bellingham’s goal helped Real Madrid defeat Barcelona in El Clasico, but the Spaniards were not happy. A late melee broke out in the Spanish capital after a redcard for the visitors. The England player wrote “Talk is Cheap” on social media and added “Hala Madrid Siempre” in order to show his eternal pride for Los Blancos. Bellingham had set up Kylian MBappe’s goal at the Bernabeu. He then scored the second goal after Fermin Lopez briefly tied the game. Wojciech Schzczesny missed an opportunity to extend the lead for the hosts, as Mbappe had his penalty saved, but the result was the same. Things got heated in the final minutes of the match, and both teams saw players sent to the stands. Pedri’s second booking in added time sent him to the sin bin, as did Madrid’s substitute keeper Andriy Lunin after players on both sides had clashed. The only time they lost in any competition was to Atletico Madrid who humiliated their neighbours by 5-2 in September. It was Barca’s second defeat in three league games after a 4-1-2 defeat against Sevilla. Paris Saint-Germain also beat them at home in the Champions League. They will know that they have little margin for error to try and put this loss behind.“In the first half, we were really decisive with the ball. Every time we had possession, it ended with a good shot or something positive,” Bellingham said after the 2-1 victory.Jude Bellingham applauding in Real Madrid vs Barcelona(Image: Anadolu via Getty Images)”In the second half, it was more defensive work. [Eder] Militão, [Dean] Huijsen, [Alvaro] Carreras and [Dani] Carvajal when he came on were very good. But it was a magnificent performance from the whole team.”In describing his goal, he said: “These are some of my favorite goals.” Many people think it is luck, but I believe it’s my understanding of the game. Position is everything when the ball goes to one side or another. I am always ready for it if that happens. Militão got his head to it and then I was there to score.”Content cannot be displayed without consentBarcelona starlet Lamine Yamal had a more challenging day, but coach Marcus Sorg – who deputised for suspended manager Hansi Flick – stood up for the teenager.“It wasn’t an easy game for Lamine. He was very well marked; we tried everything, but sometimes the defence does a good job,” Sorg said.”We also have to understand that he’s coming back from injury and is only 18 years old. If they defend him well, that can happen, but we know his potential.”Join Mirror’s WhatsApp community to receive daily updates Football content.
