Jon Jones was the undisputed light-heavyweight champion for two years. He would then make good on his long-repeated move to heavyweight.
And capturing gold in his divisional debut, the Rochester native is keen to stick around at heavyweight, with a blockbuster clash against Alex Pereira on his radar as part of next summer’s huge UFC White House card.
Jones, who has dominated the sport for a decade, lamented that he had not been able to achieve a matchup he hoped to have with one of his greatest career threats.
