Dillon Danis made headlines again with a cageside brawl.
Khabib Nurmagomedov started a fight at UFC 229 by attacking Danis, who was in Conor McGregor’s corner. Seven years later the Dagestani squad finally got its revenge in New York, while supporting Islam Makhachev City.
The focus during Saturday’s UFC 322 pay-per-view at Madison Square Garden was temporarily turned to the crowd when a multi-person melee broke out. Danis, who has been a rival of Nurmagomedov’s for years, was at the centre of the melee.
Footage online has shown the likes of Abubakar Nurmagomedov and Magomed Zaynukov, better known to fans as ‘John Pork’, getting shots in at Danis during the wild brawl, which was eventually stopped by security and police.
