    Ilia Topuria tops ESPN’s ’30 under 30′ list as PFL star controversially lands number 2

    ESPN released its annual list compiling a ranking of the top prospects in the sport MMA for those under the age of 30.

    ESPN has been compiling a list of the top young fighters of MMA for almost a decade. They give credit to those who are rising quickly in the ranks.

    They have now released the 2025 list. This year has been a successful one for the young athletes of the UFC and PFL.

    The list usually includes 25 of the top athletes under 25, but this year it has been expanded to include the 30 best fighters below the age 30.

    Fans react to ESPN’s controversial list as Ilia Topuria takes top spot

    Ilia topuria is the current UFC lightweight champ, and he deserves to be at the top of the list. At 28 years old, Topuria has already achieved the feat of being a two-time champion in the premier promotional organization.
