    Ilia Topuria backed to achieve historic UFC first when he ends his hiatus by MMA legend

    According to this ex-fighter, Ilia Topuria is not done collecting gold.

    Topuria became the tenth two-division champion in UFC history this past June, when he followed up a brief featherweight reign with an immediate lightweight title win.

    After moving up, Topuria knocked out Charles Oliveira at UFC 317 to begin his rule over a new weight class. And when it comes to weight changes, the Spanish star does not appear to be finished yet.

    ‘El Matador’ has long outlined his desire to make history by becoming the first three-weight titleholder in the promotion, and one mixed martial arts legend believes he has all the tools to do so.

    Urijah Faber names Ilia Topuria as the most likely three-division UFC champion

    The lightweight king’s future has been thrown up in the air by issues away from the Octagon. Topuria is taking an indefinite UFC hiatus while he looks to resolve a personal problem.

    When he does return, former WEC champion Urijah Faber recently named the Spaniard as the UFC star who has the best chance of winning titles across three divisions.

    “I could say Ilia Topuria,” Faber told The Schmo.

    “That guy, with his skill set, he seems to have some crazy power that could translate to the higher weight classes because (that is) the only thing you’re combating when you’re going up and down weight…
