    Former UFC star signs to PFL after retiring from MMA and winning a WBC title in boxing

    A UFC veteran who has fought 11 times in the UFC is retiring from MMA.

    It is far from a surprise to see former fighters announce that they’re planning to revert their initial decision to step away from the sport.

    Henry Cejudo is a famous example of this. He retired from UFC 323 after a long absence, but returned several years later, when he was at the top of his bantamweight class.

    Cejudo has already set his sights on a completely different career. A fighter who laid down the gloves in 2024 chose to switch to boxing.

    Despite finding some success, they’ve now announced that they’re going to be coming back to MMA after admitting that some mistakes were made.

    Tyson Pedro returns to MMA after boxing switch didn’t go to plan

    Tyson Pedro fought in the Octagon 11 times before announcing retirement in Las Vegas, March 2024.

    Pedro, the man who beat Khalil Rountree Jr. on his UFC debut had won three out of his five previous fights, before he decided to give up MMA.

    It looked as if another journey was about to start.
