The UFC 322 weight-ins were almost a success.
Ahead of Saturday’s UFC pay-per-view event at Madison Square Garden, the 28 fighters hit the scale on Friday to make their bouts official.
As the four main fighters made weight to fight for their respective titles at the top of UFC 322’s lineup, there would have been a sigh of relief.
Former strawweight champion Zhang Weili’s flyweight title challenge against Valentina Shevchenko and ex-lightweight king Islam Makhachev’s battle with Jack Della Maddalena for the welterweight belt are now good to go.
Almost every other fighter followed suit by hitting their divisional limits, but one fighter whom fans successfully advocated to get boosted up the bout order at Bo Nickal’s expense unfortunately did not.
