Dana White hints at new UFC policy for fight-fixing suspicions after letting Isaac Dulgarian compete

The UFC is set to make a change in their approach.

MMA and the sport’s leading promotion have become embroiled in a serious scandal after the events that unfolded at UFC Vegas 110 at the Apex last Saturday.

After his defeat in the first round to Yadier Del Valle, Featherweight Isaac Dulgarian has been accused of fighting-fixing. ‘The Midwest Choppa’ was a heavy favorite but the betting lines dramatically narrowed in the final hours before the fight, with money specifically coming in on Dulgarian to be finished in round one.

Dana White says that as soon as the result was known, he contacted the FBI. Dulgarian left the UFC shortly after. The promotion was aware of the suspicious gambling activity much earlier, and the fighter assured them that he did not have anything to do with it.

White is planning to change how he will react to this kind of promotion in the future.
