Conor McGregor’s UFC comeback has another hurdle to overcome.
The former two-division UFC champion has not competed since 2021, when the polarizing Irishman suffered a gruesome broken leg during his trilogy fight against Dustin Poirier.
While McGregor’s failed comeback against Michael Chandler a couple of years ago left many ruling out any chance of him returning, a marquee event this year has sparked fresh life into his fight plans.
McGregor wants to return at UFC White House this June, as the promotion celebrates 250 years of American independence with a card in Washington D.C.
But before that can come to fruition, the promotion will seemingly need to renegotiate McGregor’s contract and nail him down to a fresh, even more lucrative deal.
