CeeDee Lamb Praises Dak, Says This Cowboys Offense is ‘Best One I’ve Been On’

Dallas Cowboys still have a lot of work to do if they want to make the NFC playoffs. CeeDee Lamb is happy with the way the offense is going. He told Tommy Yarrish, the official Cowboys website, that “this is the best offense I’ve ever been on.” “It’s how we can move all these pieces and players around. We can line up quicker than anyone. It’s tough.Quarterback Dak Prescott had a similar mindset. He said, “Not to knock any other group I’ve been in, but the camaraderie and trash-talking, the emotions, and passions, are as strong as I’ve seen them,” after a 44-22 victory over the Washington Commanders. “Sure, there’s some youth, and that’s likely a large part of it. But we have guys who work hard every day.”Lamb played in his first game since missing the last three. Prescott’s 21-of-30 performance for 264 yards, three touchdowns and Lamb’s five receptions for 110 yards was impressive. Prescott has been able to maintain his career highs for completion percentage (71.4), QBR (81.2) and passer rating (1076). He’s a constant performer in the regular-season. The Cowboys approach to their backfield has also been rewarded. Javonte is ranked second in the NFL in rushing yards, with 592. The problem for Dallas is it is also ranked last in yards and 30th on opponent scoring. A terrible defense can only be compensated to a certain extent by elite offenses. At this rate, the Cowboys are likely to continue to dominate some teams and win shootouts. To be a contender, they need to make significant improvements on the defensive side.
