Welcome to Monday’s edition of Pick Six! The NFL playoffs this year will be a bit different because the Chiefs WILL NOT be involved. After being eliminated from playoff contention, the Chiefs are not making a postseason trip for the first since 2014. In addition, Patrick Mahomes was also injured due to a torn anterior cruciate ligament. The Chiefs’ dynasty may not be over but it is certainly on shaky grounds. You might wonder who will be in the playoffs now that the Chiefs are out. We’ll cover this today by looking at the playoff picture. We will also give grades and make some picks in tonight’s Steelers vs Dolphins game.

This is my favorite part, where I grade all 32 teams. There are only two teams playing tonight so I think I only graded 30 teams.
With that in mind, here are the grades from three notable games that were played Sunday:Bills 35-31 over Patriots (full recap)Bills takeaway: Whatever Sean McDermott said to this team at halftime, he might want to bottle some of that up and save it for the playoffs. Bills had a disastrous first half, with only 76 yards. But in the second they got back to basics: they gave the ball to James Cook and let Josh Allen do his thing. Cook had 107 rushing yards and two touchdowns, with 65 coming in second half. Josh Allen led his team to victory with 194 yards total in the second-half, including a 14 yard TD pass at third-and-14 from New England that gave Buffalo their first lead of game. Bills’ defense, which allowed just 100 yards in the second half of play, was equally impressive. Bills (10-4-4) may not have won the AFC East but they showed they could win on the road in a playoff environment. This is important because this team might be forced to play a road playoff match or two to reach the Super Bowl. Grade: B-Patriots takeaway: This was a monumental collapse by a Patriots team that blew a 21-0 lead. Drake Maye – who was always accurate – threw only two incompletes in the first half.
