Moreno was confident that he’d be awarded a title shot if he beat Steve Erceg this year in order to win back-toback bouts within the Octagon.
The 32-year old then sought to improve his case by competing for the second consecutive time in 2025 at UFC 323, which took place this past weekend.
Many people believe that the referee stopped his fight in Las Vegas with Tatsuro Taira too soon, as the Japanese fighter recorded a TKO victory in the second round.
After Moreno reflected on the loss shortly after the fight, it has been reported that he’s set to enter another training camp in the near future.
In a card signing photo, Joshua Van has predicted his UFC 323 victory almost to the minute.
