Missouri coach Eli Drinkwitz said to reporters after the game that Pribula’s ankle “had to be popped in”.Drinkwitz explained that Pribula had an ankle injury, which required re-population. It could take a long time before he returns.”Pribula was twisted up during a fourth down rush near the goal when the Vanderbilt defensive stack pushed him back. Pribula stayed on the ground in pain while the rest of both teams left the pitch. The medical staff treated him and put him in an air cast. He was then taken to the tunnel, where he was transferred into a wheelchair.
In the absence of Pribula, the Tigers turned to Matt Zollers as their third-string quarterback.
