Khamzat Chimaev was not the only person with whom Ian Machado Garry got physical.
While the UFC middleweight champion was in Qatar to support his friend and frequent training partner, Arman Tsarukyan, much of the post-fight conversation surrounded ‘Borz’ himself.
Chimaev, who helped Tsarukyan win the main event over Dan Hooker by cornering him in the final round, had a spat with the UFC Qatar’s co-headliner.
Following Garry’s decision triumph over Belal Muhammad in their crucial welterweight clash, a seemingly friendly meeting between the Irishman and Chimaev soon became heated when the 185-pound king forcefully shoved ‘The Future’.
As it turns out, Chimaev might have still been riled up from another backstage moment he was involved in earlier on…

Arman Tsarukyan reveals Khamzat chimaev pushed another security guard at UFC Qatar
Chimaev’s push on Garry at UFC Qatar was evidently not the Chechen star’s only attempt to flex his muscles backstage in Doha.
That much was revealed by Tsarukyan during a recent interview on Daniel Cormier’s YouTube channel. The lightweight competitor revealed that Chimaev also got into an argument with a guard as the Armenian, his entourage and the security guard entered the arena to compete in his main bout.
“Khamzat has a 2-0 that day,” Tsarukyan said.
“We just came from the bus and we were getting to the arena and one bodyguard pushed into Khamzat and said, ‘Hey, go back and come back again.’ It was like a security (apparatus), you know?
“He doesn’t let Khamzat get in, and Khamzat is like, bam, pushes him.
“And then when we were in locker room, they called police, you know? They take him out, then he came back, and then they take him out, and he came back,”While he was speaking, he said:
