Alex Pereira won’t be giving up his pursuit of a historic third UFC divisional title.
The Brazilian fan favorite fell short of becoming the first fighter in UFC history to win championships across three separate weight classes this past June.
Pereira was knocked out by Ciryl Gane in the co-main event of UFC Freedom 250 at the White House. The Frenchman left Washington, DC, as the interim heavyweight champion and with a rematch against Tom Aspinall awaiting him down the line.

“Go over there and knock his a— out and get back to the top, and then get the rematch. That’s what I say. It is a good fight for Alex.”

Unsurprisingly, it did not take Hokit long to react to Teixeira’s comments on social media.
“Either give me Ciryl for the title or Alex for the BMF,” Hokit wrote on X.
“Tired of watching these little crotch sniffers lay & pray & people call them the BMF/P4P. You can’t have those titles & just hold guys down without doing damage.
