Sean Strickland has warned Shara Magomedov to slow his roll in response to his jibes on Saturday night.
Popular Russian star Magomedov defeated Michel Pereira in the UFC Baku co-main event, albeit after some questionable refereeing. The Brazilian is one of Strickland’s many sparring partners at Xtreme Couture in Las Vegas, and ‘Shara Bullet‘ used this as a chance to fire a shot at the champion.
Of course, Magomedov is still quite a distance from a title shot at middleweight and still has yet to land a top 15 ranking. And this seems to be the crux of Strickland’s argument, which he made in a brief response tweet today.

“If you tell him, ‘Come to Abu Dhabi,’ he’ll probably walk around with five security guards, and even then, he likely won’t go. There are many like that over there. They go, ‘I’m not going, and that’s it. I’m an American, so I will only fight here.’”
One baffled viewer of this clip was Josh Hokit, who asked why Magomedov was taking shots at Strickland despite being unranked. “It makes me laugh,” he wrote. “Bro you fought my teammate… There are levels to…
