Dricus du Plessis has shared his thoughts on a potential fight between two of his former opponents.
Khamzat Chimaev is expected to defend the middleweight belt he took from ‘DDP’ in the summer.
Sean Strickland has emerged as the frontrunner to face him after knocking out Anthony Hernandez at UFC Houston last month.

Dricus du Plessis: Sean Strickland’s style will cause Khamzat Chimaev problems
Dricus du Plessis holds two wins over Sean Strickland, but still thinks he’s got what it takes to beat the only man to get the better of him in the Octagon.
“I do think Strickland will do great against Khamzat. I honestly do. Just his style, I think he would,” the former UFC middleweight champion said on The Ariel Helwani Show.

“I really wanted to fight in April. I had a little injury. Nothing too serious. Nothing that needs surgery. It was just something that took some time to heal. April was out, for sure. Maybe May, but I think May might be early. I’ll know by Monday (March 9) if May is possible.
“The injury held me back a little. I could still train but not camp. I couldn’t start preparing for a fight.
“I’ll know on Monday if I can start camp for May.”
Kamaru Usman was offered a fight against Du Plessis, but that’s not something the former 185lb king has been approached about.
“I didn’t get that offer ever,” ‘DDP’ insisted.
“If they gave me that offer, I would take that…
