Justin Rose is six shots clear after the third round of the Farmers Insurance Open at Torrey Pines with a record tournament score and 13th PGA Tour title in his sights.Rose notched four birdies on an impeccable front nine, including three in a row from the fifth, then mixed three more with three bogeys coming home to sign for a four-under 68 and reach 21 under for the event in San Diego.
The best winning score in the history of the Farmers Insurance Open is the 22 under achieved by Tiger Woods in 1999 and George Burns in 1987, so the 45-year-old will break that if he shoots two under or better on Sunday.
