Luke Littler, who was runner up to Luke Humphries at the 2024 World Championship, will be looking to become only the fourth player in history to win consecutive World Championships. Last year’s winner Michael van Gerwen beat Littler in his final.

Littler, who won the UK Open in January, the World Matchplay, the World Grand Prix and the Players Championship, will be the favourite to lift this trophy again. Stephen Bunting and Van Gerwen, Jonny Clayton and James Wade are likely to face him.
Gian van Veen is hoping to build upon his European Championship triumph earlier this year. Beau Greaves, meanwhile, leads the strong female contingent of this year’s lineup.
