Michael Smith, who is fighting arthritis, has found a new way to live in darts. He will face Chris Dobey next in the last-16 after making it through a difficult Group A. Smith won over Nathan Aspinall (the Asp) and Alex Spellman to make it to the knockouts. Luke Humphries beat ‘The Asp,’ which helped ‘Bully Boy,’ advance.
Smith was visibly emotional in his post-match press conference following his win over Aspinall.
