The 2025 World Series has been tied once again. Toronto Blue Jays won Game 4 on Tuesday by beating Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher Shohei Ohtani both at the mound as well as the plate. The score was 6-2. This means that the series has now become a three-game best-of-three with one game left in Los Angeles, and at least one remaining in Toronto. The Dodgers hope to be the first World Series champions to win two consecutive titles since the New York Yankees of 1998-2000. The Blue Jays will be looking to win their first championship since their back-to-back titles in 1992 and 1993. They won the ALCS Game 7 over the Seattle Mariners, which secured their place in the Fall Classic. Toronto is making its first World Series since 1993 when they won a second consecutive championship. In the NLCS, the Dodgers dominated the Milwaukee Brewers who had the best regular-season record in MLB. They returned to the World Series by destroying them. The Dodgers, the first defending champions to return to the World Series in the following season since 2008-09 Philadelphia Phillies are in many ways better than the team from last year.
