However, updated FIFA regulations have restricted that particular route.FIFA limits clubs to a maximum of six international loans per season, with a secondary rule stipulating that no more than three players can be loaned to the same club. Chelsea have already burnt through two of their six outgoing international loan slots, including one to Strasbourg.
