‘You’re under arrest’… Conor McGregor caught on video trolling a sparring partner in the

Conor McGregor is clearly having fun during his comeback camp.

The former dual-weight champion hasn’t fought since breaking his leg at UFC 264 in July 2021.

‘Notorious’ has expressed his desire to return at the UFC White House event on June 14.

It’s currently unclear if that will happen, but Conor McGregor has been training like it will all year.

The 37-year-old can be seen locking up a head-and-arm choke from side control.

“You’re under arrest,” McGregor says as he applies the submission.

“Stop resisting,” he adds just before getting the tap from his sparring partner.

Conor McGregor needs a new contract

One thing that could stand in the way of Conor McGregor’s comeback is his contract situation.

The MMA legend recently revealed the UFC’s $7.7 billion Paramount deal ‘voided’ his contract.

McGregor is the biggest pay-per-view star in MMA history, but the UFC has exited the PPV business.

So, Dana White and his team will have to strike a new deal with their Irish superstar before he fights again.

“I’m going into negotiations with the Ultimate Fighting Championship in February,” McGregor said last month. “I’m very interested to go. They’ve actually got a new deal with Paramount, it’s worth $7.7 billion. So the company has 4xed its profit.

“My contract, essentially, is void right now because there’s no more PPV, whereas my contract was based on PPV sales,” he continued. “I’m the highest-generating PPV fighter of all time. The PPV system is done, I’m due a new contract.

“So, we’re going into negotiations in February, and I’m very interested to see how it goes.”
