    World Darts Championships: Luke Littler a true marvel, says Sir Chris Hoy as ‘Darts of Des

    When Sir Chris Hoy revealed a year ago that he’d been given the devasting news of a terminal diagnosis from prostate cancer, it was his smile and zest for living that actually struck home more. Then, he was determined to beat cancer and live his life to the fullest. Hoy, two years after being diagnosed with cancer, continues to inspire people.
    Sir Chris embraces new treatments and medications as well as being an visible spokesperson for increased funds, awareness and research.

    Hoy, who is recovering from a recent broken leg, told Sky Sports that: “Once the diagnosis has been made, which was for me over two years ago now, the first part can be pretty grim, and then treatment begins. You may be lucky enough to respond well to the treatment. Then you can enter a period where you feel stable.”It is not always stable. Sometimes it will come back, and then you’ll have to change your treatment. But the good news for me, in my case, is that there are many different options available, just as there are several for men with prostate carcinoma.
