Garry’s win over Carlos Prates this past April marked his ninth victory in 10 outings to the UFC Octagon, with his sole defeat coming against Shavkat Rakhmonov last December.
The loss halted his title hopes. However, he now has the opportunity to win two consecutive fights since then. He can also stake his claim on a first chance at the belt if he defeats Belal Muhammad this Saturday at UFC Qatar.
