Roquan returned a Joe Flacco’s fumble for a touchdown after Roquan Smith threw 4 touchdown passes. This was the Ravens highest scoring game of this season. This game was played in Baltimore. The Ravens are coming to Cleveland, where they’ve lost three out of their four previous games. The Browns are hoping to improve their offense after the extended break and make it difficult for Jackson and Derrick Henry, who only had 23 rushing yard in the Week 2 matchup.

Jackson is unlikely to win MVP, as he missed 3 games due to a hamstring problem. However, he’s been among the best players in the league this season. Jackson entered Week 11 leading the NFL in passer rating (127.1) and touchdown rate (10.2%) and in the top five in touchdown-to-interception ratio (15 to 1), yards per attempt (8.5) and completion percentage (70%). Jackson’s presence has revitalized a floundering offense, and he will need to perform at a high-level against a talented Browns defence. Ravens’ defense experienced a major turn around. Baltimore’s defensive unit has experienced a major mid-season turn around, even though Jackson gets the most attention. Through the first 5 weeks of the year, the Ravens ranked 28th in yards allowed per play. They were allowing big plays to be made left and right without creating much havoc through turnovers or pressure. The trade for Alohi Gilman was a big boost. It allowed Baltimore to use three safety players — Gilman and Kyle Hamilton — as the base of its defense. The Ravens are third in the NFL for allowing just 14.5 points a game since Week 6. Beware of Myles Garret. Myles Garrett is still making a strong bid for Defensive player of the year, an award that he won in 2020 and placed third in voting last year. Garrett is already on pace to break the record for most sacks in a single season held by Michael Strahan and T.J. Watt. Garrett had five sacks on the Patriots during Week 8 and 1.5 against Jackson in week 2.
Cleveland may have been a difficult place to play the Ravens over the past few years, but we don’t expect Baltimore to lose another match there.
