Extra innings, Game 7, I’m out there with my teammates to celebrate. I’m just so thankful, man. My cup overflows.”Kershaw was not present in the series-deciding Game 7 on Saturday, but there were moments when he believed he would have to take one final turn at the mound.Kershaw stated, “I turned my back to it and had no idea that we had an out.” “I was warming up and then, sure enough, double-play-turned-game-over. But I believe I had the next batter there. Yoshinobu’s heroics during extra innings saved the day. Kershaw watched from the dugout, as his teammates finished the series.”For it to end tonight like this, I don’t really have words for it,” Kerhsaw said. “I’m just so honored. It’s unbelievable.Kershaw did get a World Series sendoff. Kershaw entered the game’s 12th inning with the bases full and the score at 5 runs apiece.
