Merab Dvalishvili can achieve something that is unheard-of among UFC champions. Dvalishvili can become the first UFC champion in history to defend his title four times within a single year by beating Petr Yan. All of this will be happening on the 6th December at T-Mobile Arena Las Vegas. More than 100 UFC Champions have won. Dvalishvili is the first to get this chance. The UFC Bantamweight Champion has successfully defended the title in 2025 against Umnar Nurmagomedov. Sean O’Malley, and Cort Sandhagen. Dvalishvili, if he defeats Yan who he defeated in 2023, will have a record that is all his own. Dvalishvili is up against a former champion who has just won three straight fights. UFC 323 will be supported by a second title match. Alexandre Pantoja has a good case to be the second best flyweight champion in UFC’s history. Only Mount Rushmore fighter Demetrious ‘Mighty Mouse’ Johnson is better. The next opponent for Pantoja is a compelling one. Joshua Van exploded onto the scene in just two years, moving from UFC debutant into title challenger. In pursuit of becoming UFC champion, Joshua Van fights four times this year.
