Valentina Shevchenko vs. Zhang Weili will go down as one of the biggest women’s fights in UFC history.
UFC 322 is taking place in Madison Square Garden this weekend. Two title fights will be held.
Islam Makhachev (left) and Zhang Weili (right) both gave up their world titles so they could move up to a higher weight class to try to become two-division champs.
Makhachev is the headliner and will be facing welterweight champion Jack Della Maddalena, while Zhang faces flyweight queen Valentina Shchenko.
Ahead of the title fight, women’s MMA trailblazer Ronda Rousey was mentioned by a UFC commentator when expressing his level of excitement for Shevchenko vs. Zhang.
